Who was our worst forward in the 90's...Boogers, Bunbury...
Kelly?...Having just won the work FPL mini cup for the third year in a row, they have retired the Golden Ruddock and awarded it to me. I'm going to nominate our worst 90s centre forward. Ideas?

You could be here all fucking day, but for me, although he was only at the club for a short period, and he had a decent career prior, Mike Newell produced some of the worst forward displays for us I've ever seen in the shirt.

For forgetting he'd already played in a cup tie.

Steve JONES
Iain DOWIE

Just been reading a bit about Steve JONES and what he got up to after he played for us.

"He joined Charlton Athletic in February 1997 for £400,000. He played in their dramatic win over Sunderland in the 1998 play-off final, winning 7–6 on penalties after a 4–4 draw. He had been nominated as the eighth penalty taker, if required."

Imagine being a striker and being chosen EIGTH for a penalty shootout.

Before Steve Jones joined Billericay he was playing Sunday Morning (Wheatleys IIRC) seniors... played against him a few times... he was Ok'ish... scored a few but a lot of the time he never got a sniff... so it surprised the hell out of our lot when a. he joined Billericay and b. He went to West Ham... fair play to him made the most of his pace and limited footballing ability and scored a great goal at the Lane in one of my fav away days ever...

When did Les Sealey play up front at Highbury?? Think Dicksy got red carded... anyway that has to be it surely.

never forget that knee slide at WHL.

i'm with you Soldo, that followed by winning at Highbury a few weeks later were the best.

CS… tried to erase that vision of Barry Fry running up and down the touchline … SUFC had Brett Angel and Stan Collymore…. We had Colin Foster

Titi Camara was a weird one… was told was a major fuck up his signing… apparently 2 or 3 years had gone missing from career… nothing added up… when we sent him for a medical (after we had signed him and he had been in the injury room forever) to a top class hospital abroad and the prognosis came back that he had all the bodily functions of a man in his late 30’s early 40’s… he was apparently 29!!
